Cozy games are the cure for RPG burnout
After forty hours in a demanding RPG, your brain wants a break, and cozy sims are perfect for that. No stakes, no failure states, just planting things and watching them grow. Skyfarm Seasons became our go-to wind-down game while playing heavier titles. Ten minutes of watering crops and reorganizing an island is oddly restorative. There's no timer pushing you and no way to lose, which is exactly the point. What surprised us is how much these games improve your enjoyment of the harder ones. Coming back to a tough dungeon after a cozy break, we played sharper and got frustrated less. So if you're feeling burned out, don't force another epic quest. Plant some digital carrots first.
